On December 19th, our Fifth graders headed down to Charleston for an overnight trip on the USS Yorktown at Patriot’s Point. Last Friday, our Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth graders visited Bellaire Place, a local senior and assisted-living community. On Friday, Fourth and Fifth grade went to visit Your Carolina to tour their facility and discuss the cross-curricular connection between our Core Knowledge content and our daily Physical Education. The Infant 2 classroom has been very successful in collecting gently used/new Build-a-Bears for area children. Thank you Palmetto Prep families for supplying 46 stuffed animals! There will be lots of children in need that will have an animal to love, thanks to you!
Palmetto Prep’s PreK is currently sponsoring Project Christmas to help Pendleton Place. They will be collecting clothing and hygiene products for the shelter.
