Last Friday, our Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth graders visited Bellaire Place, a local senior and assisted-living community.  The students entertained the residents with traditional Christmas songs and demonstrations on their recorders.  Click here to see Mrs. Self’s Fourth Grade blog for pictures from the event!

The Infant 2 classroom has been very successful in collecting gently used/new Build-a-Bears for area children.  Thank you Palmetto Prep families for supplying 46 stuffed animals!  There will be lots of children in need that will have an animal to love, thanks to you!

Palmetto Prep’s PreK is currently sponsoring Project Christmas to help Pendleton Place.  They will be collecting clothing and hygiene products for the shelter.  Pendleton Place is an shelter for children effected by abuse or neglect.  Donation boxes have been placed in the front of the Pre-School and the Primary School.  To learn more about Pendleton [...]

Last Tuesday, an email went out to all parents informing them about the Prepper Service Project for A Child’s Haven.  The Preppers decorated the Palmetto Prep Christmas tree with a child and a gift they would like.  By the next day, every child had been accounted for and all the presents were taken to be filled.  [...]
